As a club we are very proud of pasSPort. It was first produced in 2004, and in 2020 the 17th edition was produced extending to 150 pages.
It was the brainchild of Glyn Overy the DLOC SP250 assistant registrar, and Laurence Jones who is variously described as SP250 expert, enthusiast, and advisor. It has to be said that the majority of the work involved in compiling the annual book falls upon Glyn’s shoulders.
The book is divided into sections:
- Index of owners in alphabetical order, also providing location i.e. Country/State/County.
- Full details of Owners and Cars in order of country of residence – including address, contact details, registration number / licence plate number / tag number etc. Chassis Number.
- Index of registration / licence plate numbers.
- Index of chassis numbers.
- Index of modifications.
The current edition is the largest yet featuring over 900 cars in 25 Countries.
From the feedback received over the years we know that members find the book invaluable and we urge all SP owners to join up by downloading the Car Registration Form from the link below, and returning it by email or post. (Details on the form). The information you provide is essential in maintaining our database and historical record of Daimler SP250 cars.
We are especially anxious to contact owners in the USA as 1000+ cars were shipped to that market. Whilst some have returned to Europe, we believe many are still extant in the USA and have not been recorded with ourselves. We have less than 100 listed in passport and believe there are many more that should be listed.
If you do not wish your details to appear your car can still be registered using our Registration form.
To download a form click on one of the buttons below and it will download to your device / computer.
If you don’t have word, you can download a pdf and print it and hand fill it in and post back.
