Next weekend the team will be out in full force manning the SP250 Owners’ Club stand at the NEC Classic Car Show, Hall 2 stand 750. You will need to contact me for the discounted ticket code. We look forward to meeting as you stop by to chat and buy a calendar or two. The cost of the Calendars are £15 for the desk and £12 for the wall version. We have moved with the times and invested in modern technology and bought a card swipe machine to aid members who don’t carry cash. If you are unable to attend and wish to purchase then send Alan Mason an email on soaring.ace@btinternet.com then it’s plus postage and packaging.
If you are a member of the DLOC and have this months’ Driving Member you will see not only a write up of Robin Reed himself and his achievements but also a get an insight of the dragster we will showcase on the stand. Robin and his entire team of engineers and mechanics will be on hand over the three days to answer questions. What is just mind blowing is that Robin and his team have taken a 60 years old Daimler block and driven it to 210 MPH with some 2000 hp. It just shows the quality of the design that Edward Turner created 65 years ago.
The cloning of number plates is of growing nightmare proportions now that Khan’s expanded ULEZ scheme has kicked in to extract more cash from the motorist. Added to which the ANPR cameras swooping down with their ever watchful eyes pursuing motorists wherever they drive or park, so be ever vigilant and report any doubts straightway to the police and the DVLA – retain copies of paperwork so as to prove your case.

Meanwhile Musk himself has lost a mere $41bln! in a few days, as billions are wipe of the value of the Tesla Company itself https://www.gbnews.com/lifestyle/electric-cars-next-big-flop-tesla-elon-musk-net-worth
