ParticipantHi All
One for Laurence I think!
I was walking past a garage in Budleigh Salterton, Devon today when a Dart came in for fuel. I had never seen this car before, so had a brief chat with the owner a Mr Phillip Leat from East Budleigh. I asked him if he knew about passport, and he didn’t. I checked in the 2015 and 2018 edition, and it’s not there.
I’m afraid I didn’t have long to chat, but it’s a 1962 B spec in a metallic blue. Rack and pinion with kenlow fan. Wood steering wheel . VRN STK 348 He has owned it for three years
I expect the car is known, but thought it worth a shot.
I took a photo, but it’s on a phone at the moment.

ParticipantSimon,
Excellent spotting. It is know, however not heard of since 1998 in the Exmouth area. I will make a note that it has been spotted some 20 odd years later. Keep the picture.

ParticipantI am utterly amazed as to where they still turn up:-
The 1663rd chassis number 102754 (April 1961) Registered RBB 163 is up for sale at Stroud Auctions
on the 8th May. The auctioneer – Mark, is a member of the DLOC.I note that the registration number RBB 163 is out of date sequence with the period of build. a private plate ?
