    Sad news about Norman Dewis – met him at one of the SP250 50th celebrations at Shelsley Walsh – a true gentleman & a great character with so many stories to tell.

    Yes sad news indeed, but what a life that man had. I met him at the Jaguar Social Club a couple of years ago when he gave a very interesting and entertaining talk. I have his biography by Paul Skilleter which Norman signed on the night.

    Thanks for posting the youtube clip Alan. As you say it’s well worth a watch and it’ll bring a smile to your face.

    I have known Norman since the 60s and seldom has there been a greater character with a better sense of humour. Always the gentleman but with steely determination. A sad loss. R I P Norman
