    Looking for advice on best oils for SP250.
    Original spec was Sae 30 for both.
    Many seem to have gone with Castrol XL20/50 for engine and Xxl30 for g/b (or Penrite GB30)

    There is the Halfords Classic range which is value for money and suitable as is the Morris Oils range of 20/50s where you can bulk buy. or indeed the Castrol Classic range

    Engine and gearbox use the same grade and the rear axle EP70/90
