I have a 1960 Maroon SP250 that has been ungraded to B spec, but it now needs a repaint. I would like to paint it the Metallichrome Mountain Blue original colour and there is information on the forum that this was an ICI colour in P422 paint with a colour code for that era. However how do I translate that to a modern colour code – for example in PPG Autocolour paint?
I my area there is no other car around in mountain blue that I could have analyzed, but if anybody has done this work I would be grateful for any information.

    Wayne,

As you live overseas I will ask what the modern codes are for you
