The Essex SP250 group are a great supporter of this event, and booking is now open.
Ford have again generously given us the use of their Dunton Technical Centre site, which is a great venue for our show. All money raised goes to providing care in the local community for people under the care of Saint Francis Hospice, and they are very grateful for our support.
This is the eight show and we aim to get close to £150,000 for the amount raised since we started.
As well as the cars, there is a Vintage Market, live sound stage, childrens entertainment and car related stalls. This year we are also celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Ford Capri, with a dedicated display on the Test Track.
If anyone wants to come along and help us run the event on the day, please let me know.

Just 3 weeks to go before advance booking closes, so get in now if you want to join us.
So far we have over 350 cars entered including over 150 Capris and it’s increasing every day!

This will be an amazing day with over 650 cars booked in to display, including 254 Ford Capris – that will be quite a sight on the Dunton Test Track, and is probably the biggest Capri event anywhere in its 50th anniversary year.
As usual the Essex SP group have come up trumps and are providing great support with marshalling and judging.
Our display areas are now fully booked but anyone can come along on the day for £5 per head to enjoy the day.September 7, 2019 at 12:51 pm #1255
Thanks to all of volunteers and helpers for the show last Sunday, especially the Essex SP team who, as usual, were magnificent!!
We almost closed the roads around Dunton with all of the visitors and the Capri 50th Birthday Display was undoubtedly a big attraction. Hundreds of cars, thousands of visitors and some great food and music made up an unforgettable day.
And what’s more we raised a record amount of over £33,000 (plus more to come in) for Saint Francis Hospice, which they are understandably delighted with.
