are new Vacuum units available for the original style SP250 distributer?
my Vacuum unit is threaded to accept the metal vacuum pipe from the manifold.

With this replacement (June 1972) Lucas includes instructions stating that only push-on units will be supplied going forward. They supply a rubber tube that pushes onto the nipple of the new unit and also over the brass olive of the metal pipe. Then: “Screw the nut over the tube until a tight compression fit is obtained.”
