Chassis flex

Can anyone tell me if I can stiffen the car so that the doors don’t tighten on closing. Can this be done by welding hot metal straps to the bottom of the chassis to stop it sagging.
It is a minor problem but it is annoying.

If an “A” spec where you are having those problems., then to fix on a permanent/long term basis and stiffen the chassis it requires the body to be lifted and the various supplementary (B/C) chassis stiffening added.

Otherwise, if a “B/C” and the body has been off, it’s an aligning of the body backing pieces between the body and chassis at the “B” post area and backwards. These may have settled since a recent body off restoration.
